LANDSCAPE PERMEABILITY MAPPING
The service assesses the quality of a habitat and identifies the degree to which the landscape impedes or facilitates movement among suitable habitat and resource patches. It is often combined with change detection service.

Change Detection and Land Use Analysis:
The service is based on very high-resolution data and aims to detect changes in predefined vulnerable areas. The service is applicable both for landscape and land border permeability mapping. The vulnerable areas are identified through intelligence and are monitored using regular satellite observation for specific period. The nature of changes that the service can detect could be defined by the client.
The change detection product is composed of a base map derived from satellite orthoimages and geo-spatial information in support of emergency planning for evacuation and for intervention in critical according to client's needs. Change detection and change analysis is performed on satellite imagery acquired before, during and after the respective situation / event of interest.
LAND BORDER MONITORING
The service through, extensive geo-processing capabilities, identifies vulnerable areas along the land border lines, and provides up-to-date, accurate and tailored-made intelligence maps. It is based on data from very high to high resolution, depending on client's requirements and aims to: reduce unauthorized border crossings, counter cross-border criminality and increase internal security. Border permeability mapping is performed using manual spatial analysis between different layers of information. Satellite optical and radar data, existing map and elevation data, and also in-situ data often -but not exclusively- provided by end users, are used as service input. The type of input data depends on the area to be assessed; low resolution for regional and country level and high resolution for local level. It is often combined with change detection service.

It is essential to have updated information regarding the risk of landslides, their localization, delimitation and speed to plan and manage new infrastructural networks (motorways, railways dams and industrial sites).
The monitoring of infrastructure instabilities and terrain displacements (landslides, subsidence, etc.) is based on the Persistent Scatterers technique. The technique proposed requires a minimum of 20÷30 interferometric SAR acquisitions for the generation of the first displacement map. The updates of the first map can be done every 3÷5 new acquisitions. The update rate is then defined on the capability of the SAR sensor to revisit (interferometrically) the same area.

The Flood Mapping Service, is a regional service dedicated to flood, water / wetlands , river basin, environmental, and land planning management actors.
Based on Earth Observation data exploitation, this service will allow to collect geo-information and maps related to on-going regional (plain) flood or historical hydrological events. During the event, the instantaneous extent of the flood observed at the time of satellite acquisition, associated to the flood impact on the landscape can be delivered shortly after EO data reception. In the case of a long lasting event, flood monitoring products may be provided such as successive flood extents, successive impacts. After the event, flood synthesis geo-information products and statistics (eg: maximum extent and impact, flood duration) may be generated and delivered.
Geo-information and maps related to past events may also be requested through the exploitation of available archive satellite data.
This service allows, through satellite imagery exploitation, the mapping and monitoring of regional (Plain) flood events. This EO derived geospatial information can be exploited for managing the (successive) flood situations, to capitalize EO derived geospatial information on a flood, to contribute to flood atlas constitution for the risk memory , to participate to flood modelization with real cases observations and to improve the flood risk prevention;
