Integrating the latest results in remote sensing research, SERTIT applies its expertise and know-how to respond to user needs with customized EO derived products and services. Starting in 1986, SERTIT has been involved in landscape mapping and monitoring using EO data for more than 30 years, in order to support natural resources management and territory monitoring for the long term conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity. Pioneer in the rapid mapping of natural disasters since 1996, SERTIT is also a key European Rapid Mapping actor. Within the EC Copernicus Emergency Management Services, or in support to the International Charter “Space and Major Disasters”, SERTIT’s 24/7 Rapid Mapping Service delivers geo-information products to the civil protection, risk mitigation and humanitarian communities for decision making during disasters all over the world.
